Daniel Fowler is ...
one of the most popular teachers (kumu) on Maui, Hawaii.
He has been teaching Lomi Lomi since 1990. He began his work in 1983 and took every opportunity to study with the many different 'Kupunas' (elders) and 'Kahunas' (masters).
Daniel imparts an in-depth knowledge of Lomi Lomi, its origins and myths. He was very fortunate to learn from Abraham Kawaii, Uncle Kalua Kiahua, Papa "K" Sylvester Kepelino and many others and today he passes on his knowledge with great respect and care.
In addition to his teaching work as an authorized Lomi teacher, he is self-employed in the field of technical services.
